Passed away peacefully with her loving husband by her side on December 12, 2012 at the age of 67 years. Loving wife to Mike with whom she celebrated 46 years of marriage. Dearest mother to Paul, Carl and Naomi. Adored grandmaman to Elijah, Eve and Eira. Dear sister to Luc and Lise Couture. Mariette was a former letter carrier for Canada Post and was a tireless volunteer for the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
