Died peacefully in her sleep after a lengthy illness, on February 1, 2013 at 79 years of age. Loving mother of Susan and husband John Higgins of Kingsville, Scott and wife Kelly Fraser of Tecumseh. Proud grandmother of Christopher, Jack and Molly. Daughter of the late Archie and Jean Guthrie. Marilyn always had a love for animals and was the former manager of the Windsor Essex County Humane Society with over 20 years of service.
