Passed away on October 2, 2011 peacefully at home with his wife of 40 years, Rose (Iacobelli) by his side. He fought a very courageous battle with cancer. Proud father of Daniella and husband Jamie, son Reggie, Michella and Derek. Best Papa ever to Carsen and Ainslie "The loves of his life". Mario was grateful that he met and was able to spend time with them. Loving son of Elda and late Orazio (1959) Mollicone. Dear son in law of Mike and Josie Iacobelli. Will be missed by his sister Dilia DiDonato and her sons Al, Mark, and Rick. Special thanks to Dr. Parashar for his dedicated care over the past 4 years and to long time friend Dr. Bacchus. Mario was a very quiet man who spent his whole life helping others, never expecting anything in return. Mario retired after 35 years of dedicated service to his city of Windsor in the planning department.

Visiting on Tuesday 7-9 and Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9 with prayers at 4:30 pm. Funeral Thursday from Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841 to Corpus Christi Church (1400 Cabana Rd. W.) for a Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 am. A private family Entombment to follow.
