81 years, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2012. Beloved wife of William Malcolm Simms for 54 years. Cherished mother of Patricia, Beverly Hess & Dan, Michael & Colleen, William, Martyn, Gordon, Anita Desrochers & Raymond and the late Ronald. Loving Grandmother of Michelle, Emily, Kevin, Joey, Peter, Kathleen, Alex, Ben and Alysha. Dear sister of Leonard Bornais & Rosita, Theresa Lassaline & Jim, Rita Fata & Tony, Elaine Bering & Josef, Lloyd Bornais, Vincent Bornais & Kathy, Raymond Bornais. Predeceased by her parents Jeremie & Cecilia Bornais, sisters Elizabeth Drouillard, Veronica Desmarais, Rosemary McCracken; brothers Bernard, Gerard and Louis Bornais. She is survived by her brother-in-law Len Desmarais, sister-in-law Mary Bornais and God-mother to Dan Bornais. Mom was a loving and special caregiver to her grandmother Mémé Ellen (Nellie) Deneau. Mary will be missed by many nieces and nephews, family and friends. She was a caring person who loved her family beyond words. Special thanks to the staff and friends at Sunrise Assisted Living.
