On January 20, 2013, after a 14 year struggle with a debilitating illness, surrounded by his loving family. Loving husband of Rosemary "Babe" (nee Fontaine) for 28 years. Dearest son of Anne Veres and the late Louis (2003), and son-in-law of the late Rosemary (1983), the late Jay Dee (2007) and Jay Dee's second wife, the late Pat (2007). Dear brother of Gary and wife Linda, Robert and wife Leatha Smith, Richard and Louise. Brother-in-law and friend of Denise and Michael Walker, Frances and Ken Young, John and Lynne Fontaine, Michael and Fay Fontaine, Paul and Kathy Fontaine, Nancy and Chris Paterson, Mary Martha and Dave Cours. Mike will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Best buddy and companion of Max. Mike retired from the General Motors Trim Plant after 20 years of service. He was an avid fisherman, a trap shooter, and enjoyed gardening. He was also a devoted Red Wing's Fan.
