Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on April 11, 2011 at WRH- Metropolitan Campus at 82 years of age. Beloved spouse and best friend of Geraldine Donaldson (nee Mayea). Cherished father of Rick and wife Sheryl, and Lisa. Survived by the mother of his children Margaret Richard. Adored grandfather of Michael & Sheila, Zach & Lisa, Tania, Matthew and Kayla and great-grandfather of 5 great-grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his adopted family: Sue & Eric Tiessen, Annette & Adrien Sylvestre, and Gerard & Kathy Renaud and their families. Dear brother of Marguerite, Mary & Larry Meyers, Rosie & Ernie Asadoorian, Virginia & Ray Norris, Edward, Albert & Betty and David. Mike was a retired employee of Daimler Chrysler Canada after 30 years of service and a past board executive of the CAW 444. He enjoyed bowling and golfing, and got a hole in one in 2008 at Dominion Golf Club. If you so desire, donations to the Hospice of Windsor would be appreciated by the family. Visiting Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m Funeral Friday at 11:00 a.m. at FAMILIES FIRST 1065 LAUZON RD. East Windsor (519-969-5841). Cremation to follow.
