It is with sadness and great sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother and grandmother peacefully on October 16, 2008 at 90 years of age. Beloved wife of 62 years to the late George Arthur Better (2001). Cherished mother of the late Shirley survived by husband Gord Hickey, Nancy and late husband Nelson Hickey, Raymond and wife Marianne Better, Carol Better and fiancée Bob Crowley, Robin and Suezette Better, Sherri and Dale Dziver. Dear grandmother of Kathy and Ken, Kerry, Kurt, Gord Jr and Vezzna, Janet and Dan, Patrick and Sharon, Kelly, Crystal, Christopher, Melanie and Ian, Kimmie, Matthew, Alicia, Joseph, Stacey and friend Jason and ten loving great grandchildren. Dear sister of the late Dean survived by wife Helen McDougall and Eleanor White. Mom was born and Raised in Wallaceburg until her husband George retuned from the war at which time they moved to Windsor.
