It is with great sadness that we as a family announce the end of Peggy's life on Thursday August 2, 2012. Often we don't realize how precious life is until one moment when a life is no longer. Peggy was the beloved wife of Leo for 47 years. Loving and proud mother of Pamela & husband Darl of Pembroke, and Barry & wife Melanie of Barrie. Special Nana to Sydney and Evan. She will be greatly missed by her pet and companion Abby. Predeceased by her mother Malvena Gilmour (2005), step father Ken Gilmour (1995) and sister Ruby Steer (1997). She will be missed by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends. Special thank you for being there to sister-in-law Ann and niece Debby. Thank you also to the staff at 6N Met Hospital. If you so desire, donations to the Windsor & Essex County Humane Society, to support her love of dogs, would be appreciated by the family. Cremation has taken place. Memorial visiting Sunday 6-8 pm and Monday 10:30 followed by a Memorial Service to celebrate Peggy's life at 11:30 am at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841.
