On October 30, 2008 Phil lost his courageous battle with cancer at 59 years of age. Beloved husband of Judy. Loving dad of Ryan and wife Sara, Greg and canine companions Heidi, Hannah and Molly. Son of Joseph (deceased) and Geraldine Fontaine, and Bernice Graff of Seattle, WA. Brother of Linda and Franklin Long, Joe Fontaine and Cindy Ritz, Lynne and Carl Swatman. Brother-in-law of Nancy and Joe Fusco, Stephen Eich. Uncle of Kristin, Justin, Joey (deceased), Jason, and Clayton. Retired from Canada Post after 35 years of service. Phil was an avid golfer and member of Erie Shore Golf & Country Club. Donations made to the Hospice of Windsor or Windsor Humane Society would be appreciated by the family. Carmel Church (4401 Mt. Royal Dr.) for Mass at 10 a.m. followed by procession to Heavenly Rest Cemetery for committal service.
