Passed away on October 16, 2012 after a long courageous battle with cancer at the age of 54 years. Cherished father of Barry and wife Kristina, Emma Bondy and husband Roy, Rebecca Dumontier and husband Greg. Loving fiancé of Yvonne Underwood. Adoring grandad of Keegan, Alyssa, Ella, and Ainsley. Will be missed by his father John Sr. and reunited with his late mother Mavis and late brothers Allan and Gary. Survived by siblings David and wife Pam, John Jr., Wendy McHale and husband Alf. Step father to Ryan, Shannon, Leigh, and Gareth. Uncle to many nieces and nephews in Canada, and England. Best friends of Bob Glen, Phooey, Bushy, and Dennis.
Gov was a great snooker player and played in several 8 ball leagues. His true passion was playing rugby for the Windsor Borderers. Gov retired after 29.75 years with the Ford Motor Company. Memorial visiting Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9. A celebration of the Gov's life will be at 7:30 pm at Families First 1065 Lauzon Rd. East Windsor, 519-969-5841.
