Pina Marrazzo-Quaglia

With broken hearts we announce the unexpected passing of Pina, our beautiful angel on June 30, 2012 at the age of 47. Beloved wife for 20 years of Ezio. Devoted mother of Lauren. Adored daughter of Salvatore and Sabata Marrazzo, daughter-in-law of Espedito and Rita Quaglia. Cherished sister and best friend of Teresa Marrazzo, Vinnie & Ben Nardone, Toni & David Buratto and Rosa Marrazzo (1998). Dear sister-in-law of Aira Cristina & Ron Goletz. Special aunt of Adam and David Nardone, Dante, Matteo and Giulia Buratto, Andrew, Matthew and Adam Goletz. Will be missed by her canine friend Georgie. Pina was a dedicated teacher with the GECDSB for over 18 years, having a place in her heart for her special needs students. She was the 650th heart transplant recipient and was a strong advocate for organ donation. She loved to exercise, cook, crochet, coach track and field, and utilize her green thumb in her flower and vegetable garden. She had aspiring goals of running in a marathon. Pina was an avid Montreal Canadiens fan. Donations made to the Trillium Gift of Life or to the Italian-Canadian Handicapable Association would be appreciated by the family.
