Peacefully, with his family by his side on December 25, 2011 at 84 years of age. Beloved husband of 32 years to Clara May "Daisy" (nee Deschaine). Loving father of the late Larry, survived by wife Sue Robert, Randy Robert, Dan Robert & Debbie Edwards, the late Robert Martel, Tom Martel & Rhonda, Donald Martel & Evelyn, and Joyce Duggan. Cherished Pepé and Grandpa of Dinelle & Greg, Stacey, April, David, Debbie & Brian, Scott & Emily, Michael & Deanna, Tommy & Christa, Kevin & Benita, Richard & Missy, Michael & Meagan, Christopher, Shari & Matt, Jacob, Krista, Tiffany, Robert, Lori, and Christopher. Great-grandpa of 11 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by parents Joseph and Blanche Robert. Dear brother of Gloria and the late Alfred, the late John, survived by wife Caroline, the late Lawrence, survived by wife Ilene, Ralph and the late Kathleen, the late Frank and Shirley, Jack and the late Josephine, Marlene & Ron and Rene & Barb. Brother-in-law of Donna. Predeceased by former wife Madeline Desbien (nee Ouellette). Sadly missed by his extended family and many nieces, nephews and friends. Dick worked for many years at Namasco Steel Co. and was a member of the RCL Branch #143.
