Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle, surrounded by his loving family and friends at 56 years on May 8, 2011. Beloved son of Donna Mae. Dear and loving brother of Jill Gamble (Ron) and Jana Gamble. Best friend of Richard Steele. Loved uncle of Stacey Lock (B.C.), Christopher, Cassandra and Cole Aghar of Ottawa. Dear nephew to Gary (Gina) Thompson. Step son of the late Lawrence Gamble. Kim loved playing his Friday night poker games with his buddies and was an avid Detroit fan- Red Wings, Tigers and Lions. Special thank you to nurses Michelle, Annie and Steve, Dr Chourdray, as well as the staff at Met Hospital ICU. If you so desire, donations to the Canadian Lung Association or the Windsor & Essex County Humane Society would be appreciated by the family. Visitation Wednesday 3-5 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service to celebrate Kim's life will be Thursday at 11:30 am at FAMILIES FIRST 1065 LAUZON RD. East Windsor (519-969-5841). Cremation to follow.
