Suddenly at his home July 12, 2011 aged 59 years. Dearest father of Jarrod & his wife Aili. Loving "Grandpa Bob" to Nathan, Teagan and Jack. Will be fondly remembered by his former wife Barb LaFontaine. Sadly missed by sisters Dayle Hamel (Owen) and Gayle Bergeron (Tom Boismier). Predeceased by his brother Greg (1991) and parents Frank (1998) and Ruth (1990). Bob will be greatly missed by nephew Leon "Lonnie" Szpak and nieces Deanna Szpak (Jeff Bennett), Karen Szpak (Shane Wark), Ricki Jo Broad (Mark) and Stacie Keeler (Mike), Bob was the best great uncle to Kyle & Curtis Bennett, Braeden Wark, Travis Szpak and Mya, Shelby and Kaleb Keeler. He will be greatly missed by his life-long best friends George & Krys Paré and their sons Derek & Wesley. Bob lived every day like it was his last. His love for his family, playing pool and sports with the kids will be remembered by all. If you so desire, donations to the Canadian Liver Foundation or the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
