Rosemary Limarzi

Passed from the loving arms of her family and welcomed into the arms of God on December 23, 2009 at 48 years of age. Best friend and beloved wife of 25 years to Bruno Limarzi. The world's greatest mom and deeply loved by Emily and Laura. Cherished daughter of Ted and Betty Szilva and daughter-in-law of Emilia and the late Silvio Limarzi. Dearest sister of Mary Catherine and husband Jules McNeil of B.C., Jim and wife Natalie Szilva, Melinda and husband Jeffrey Fila, Elizabeth Szilva and Chris McKee. Dear sister-in-law of Ron and wife Rosemary Limarzi, Maria and husband Frank Philpott. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Most recently, Rosemary was Communications Coordinator for the Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board. Prior to that she held several positions, including Executive Assistant to the CEO of Hotel-Dieu Grace Hospital, Executive Assistant to the Chief of Police for the Town of LaSalle, court reporter for the Ministry of the Attorney General, and as a secretary at the City of Windsor, City Clerk's Office. Rosemary also worked as a secretary at Assumption College and Holy Names High Schools. At the same time, Rosemary gave generously of her time and talents as a community volunteer. She served as a Board member for the Hotel-Dieu Grace Hospital Foundation, Board member for the Windsor-Essex Board of Health, Board member for the Ontario College of Optometrists, and Chaired the Accessibility Committee for the City of Windsor. Rosemary also served four years on the Assumption College High School Council, two of those as co-chair. If you so desire donations to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre or the Hotel-Dieu Grace Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Visiting Monday 7-9pm and Tuesday 2-5pm and 7-9pm. Prayers Tuesday 8pm. Funeral Wednesday December 30, 2009 9:15am from Families First Funeral Home & Tribute Centre (519-969-5841) 3260 Dougall Ave. to Assumption Church for Mass at 10am. Interment to follow Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
