It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dearest Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Great-Great-Grandmother. Formerly of Windsor, Ruby Grace Holmes passed away peacefully at Huntsville Memorial Hospital on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at the age of 98. Ruby was born on August 10, 1914 in Windsor. Predeceased by her parents Lily and Henry Lounsbrough. Beloved wife of the late Oran (Bill) S. Holmes (1968). Loving mother of Paul Myles Holmes, Wayne Henry Holmes (Ellie) of Huntsville and Mary Lou (friend Robert Schroeder) of Kingston, ON. Cherished grandmother of Christopher (JoAnne) Holmes, Beth (Peter) Beausoleil, Shelley (Randy) Regier, Julie Holmes (Rick Lescanec), Matthew (Theresa) Holmes of Santa Cruz, CA. Treasured great-grandmother of Rachael, Jacob, Laney, Jillian, Karlie, Emily, Alicia, Randi, Holly, Matthew, Miles, Peyton and Meaghan and great-great grandmother to Rose Grace. Dearest friend to Patricia and Keith Hudson. Visitation Wednesday 3-5pm & 7-9pm at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841. On Thursday, family and friends are invited to meet after 9am at Stephen's Anglican Church (5280 Howard Ave.) followed by funeral service at 10am. Interment to follow at St. Stephen's Cemetery.
