Surrounded by her loved ones, on June 19, 2012 at 86 years young. Ruth was reunited with the ‘love of her life', the late Alistair, (Jan 30, 2012), her husband of sixty five years. Beloved mother of Brian & wife Linda, David & wife Rachelle, Ron & wife Sue. Treasured Grandma of: Hilary & husband Ian Anderson, Jonathan, Katrina, Andrea, Matthew, Krista and husband Brian Porter, Theresa, Michelle & husband Chris Barr, Sara & Randi. Great- Grandma to baby Joel, (and baby Porter due to arrive in October). Dear daughter of the late Dougald & Elizabeth McInnis. Sister in law to C.E. (Betty) Leslie and the late Duncan Leslie. Ruth was a long time member of Roseland Trinity United Church. She worked for many years at Parks & Recreation for the City of Windsor and was a proud a member of the South Windsor Fun Band. Ruth loved her sons very much and welcomed their wives into the family as one of her own. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy.
