It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of loving husband, father and Nonno. Beloved husband of 44 years to Pina (nee Papia). Devoted and loving father of Maddalena "Alena" and husband Clint Strasler. Cherished Nonno of Daniella, Sebastian and Alyssa. Dear son of the late Salvatore & Maddalena Travali and son-in-law of the late Giuseppe & Marianna Papia. Dearest brother of the late Gina Butera & Pietro, Giuseppe & Ninetta Travali, the late Dora & Salvatore Papia, Gerry Travali & Catarina and brother-in-law of the late Giovanni Papia, the late Stefano Papia, Joe & Gina Grado, Antoinetta Sementilli, Charlie & Debbie Papia. Will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Sammy was retired from Chrysler after 37 years of service.
