Peacefully on December 19, 2012, at the age of 90. Predeceased by his loving wife Doris (1975). Dear father of Rhoda Newman and husband Chuck, Jonathan and wife Elaine, Mary-Lou Lawrence and the late Bob. Predeceased by his son Mike (2002). Brother of Evelyn Speed and the late Bob, and predeceased by Harry (2011). Survived by his sister-in-law Gloria. Also survived by his siblings Margaret, Wilma, Dan, Pete, Hugh, Barbara and Helen. Cherished grandfather of several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Stan was the proprietor of Stan's TV and Appliance for over 40 years. Stan was past president of Ridgetown Kiwanis Club and was a very proud Captain in the Air Force during WW2. Stan was a very generous man, and his final act of generosity was displayed through the donation of his body to London Health Sciences, for medical research.
