Peacefully on December 3, 2012 surrounded by her loving family at 62 years of age. Cherished wife of Richard (Rick) for 38 years. Beloved mother of Todd and Sarah. Loved daughter of the late John Tomkins and Margaret Johnson and daughter-in-law of the late Thomas and Melba Reaume. Loving sister of Georgina (2006), Jo-Ann (2006) & Larry "Bucky" (1997), Barry (1995), Jackie Pouget (Clarence), Arthur Tomkins (Sharon), Diane Tomkins-Clark (Robert), William Tomkins (Brigitte), Fred Tomkins and Jim Tomkins (Sandy). Dear sister-in-law of William Reaume (Kerstin), Thomas Reaume (Clara), Debbie Taylor (2000) (Dan), Pamela Bondy-Holmes (Jim 2000), Gerald Reaume (Leila), Mary-Lois Giroux (Rick), Clarence "Ron" Reaume (2006) (Jenny), Charlene Reaume (1956), Jeffrey Reaume (1978), Timothy Reaume, Jonathan Reaume (Cheryl 2010) and Christina Hamlin. Will be missed by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Sylvia was a founding member of WonderBroads Dragonboat Team. She will always be remembered for her activism and dedication towards children with special needs, especially for their daughter Sarah. Sylvia had a great love for music and crafts which always lit up her spirits. Her quick wit and kind smile touched the lives of everyone she met.
