It comes with heavy hearts that we inform you of the passing of our dad, Tom Osborne. Tom passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday April 14, 2012, the day after his 80th birthday. Tom was a devoted husband to Margaret (deceased 1997), amazing father to Lina Osborne, Tammy Leonard (Rob), and Tom "Butch" Osborne (Jenn) of Kingston. Extraordinary grandfather to Christopher and Cheri Turpin, Brandon and Lauren Leonard, Funny Papa to Madi, Andrew, and Katelynn Osborne of Kingston. Great-Grandfather to CJ and Danielle Turpin. Dear brother to Cathy McIntosh (Malcolm). Predeceased by brother Danny, Billy, and sister Flo. Also survived by sister in law Lillian Osborne, sister in law and brother in law Heather and Ron Penny, Joanne and Tom Maclean and Audrey Maclean. He will also be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and his extended family (Tim Horton's). Tom was a retired bus driver from Transit Windsor and an annual security guard at the Tecumseh Cornfest. Tom was a very proud Korean War Veteran, a 32nd degree Mason member of the Harmony Lodge and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion 143. Tom's family would like to thank the outstanding nursing staff at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital. Tom will forever live on in the hearts and minds of his family and friends.
