Peacefully on December 31, 2000 at 89 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Norbert (1982). Cherished mother of Frances Malone, Edward (Butch) and Jackie Malone, John (Jack) and Sue Malone, Mary Pat O'Connor of Oakville. Loving grandma of Erin, Christopher, John, Robert, James, Brian, Brent, Karri-Lynn, and great-grandmother of Michael, Matthew, Gordon and Jacob. Dearest sister of Wilfred Kirby, the late Edward Kirby and the late Frank Kirby. Val was co-owner of Malone Flowers, a member of C.W.L., life member of the Villa Maria ladies auxiliary, and Assumption and St. Alphonsus bridge clubs. Visiting Tuesday 7-9pm Wednesday 2-5pm & 7-9pm. Prayers Wednesday 8pm. Funeral Thursday 10am from Families First Funeral Home and Chapel (969-5841) 2670 Dougall Ave. to St. Martin De Porres for Mass at 10:30am. Interment Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
