Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on January 12, 2013 in her 106th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband John (1996). Cherished mother of Athanasios "Tom" & his wife Helen, Georgina & her late husband Nick Coutsogiannakis, and Ioanna "Joanne". Loving yiayia of John & his wife Patty, Nick & his wife Vicky, Anthony Coutsogiannakis, Anastasia & her husband Evangelos Maragoudakis, and the late Veneta Coutsogiannakis (1984). Adored great-grandmother of Athanasios Matthew, Alexandros "Alex", and Elena Athanasopoulos; and Maria & Nick Maragoudakis. Survived by her sister Antonia Hronopoulos in Greece, nieces Georgina & John Stavropoulos & family, and Joyce & Nick Koukos and family of Thunder Bay, and many other nieces and nephews in Greece, Canada and USA. Veneta always enjoyed being an active part of the Devonshire Motel & Restaurant on Howard Ave., which her son owned.
