Died peacefully on December 14, 2011 at the age of 85 years surrounded by his loving family. Husband of Maria (nee Palazzolo). Loving father of Catherine "Tina" & Sam Pirrone, Geraldine "Mimma" Olivito and Vito Jr. & Susan Saputo. Nonno of Santino & Lori, Vito & Lesley, Frank, Michael, Erica & Jack and Bis-Nonno of Bianca, Josephine and Audrina. Predeceased by his sisters Giuseppa, Ornorata and brothers Domenico and Salvatore all of Italy. Sadly missed by many family and friends. Vito was retired from Ford Motor Company after many years of service. He will be lovingly remembered for many things especially his passion for gardening. Thank you to his dear friend, Domenico Venuto, for all of his support and friendship. A special thanks to the 8th floor nurses at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital for your kindness and caring.
