Peacefully surrounded by his loving family and friends on September 17, 2003 at 66 years of age. Loving husband of Sandra (nee Williams). Cherished dad of Mike and wife Mindy, Patti and Jeff. Beloved son of Caroline and the late William. Adored papa of Kelsey and Mitchell, Damien and Starla, Frankie and Johnny. Loved brother of Adeline and husband Forest, Richard and wife Sharon. Dear son-in-law of Beulah and the late Art, and brother-in-law of the late Darlene wife of Jim. Survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Treasured friend of Carol and Harry, Bill, Jack, Gary and Vic. Along with many dear friends too numerous to mention. Walter was a former mechanic with Transit Windsor and a handyman to many. If you so desire, donations to the Hospice of Windsor would be appreciated by the family. Visiting Saturday 3-5 and 7 until time of service at 8:30 p.m. at Families First Funeral Home & Chapel (969-5841) 2670 Dougall Ave. Cremation to follow. As his father before him, it was his family he treasured most.
