Walter Pytlowany

Slipped away peacefully at home at 69 years of age with his loving family by his side on November 23, 2012 after a 12 month battle with cancer. Amazing husband of Joanne (nee Huth) for 45 years. Loving father of Paul Pytlowany and fiancée Amy Greene, Kristin and husband Tom Kopecky and Erica Pytlowany. Caring Papa of Taylor, Ethan and Lauren. Dear brother of Anne Desjarlais and husband Brent, special son-in-law of Margaret Huth and brother-in-law of Mary Margaret Mallat, Gerry and Carla Huth and Patricia Huth. Survived by nieces and nephews Nicole Miller and family, Craig Desjarlais and family, Carl Mallat and Lana Mallat. He retired in 2001 from Chrysler Canada after 37 years of service. His passion for sports, especially hockey made him many caring friends. He was a referee for years and loved the Windsor Spitfires and was their goal judge for several years. His special summer retreat was his cottage in Bayfield. Walter loved his toys, his Honda Gold Wing Motorcycle and his 1969 Barracuda. He was a member of the Red Knights Motorcycle club and the Windsor Area Street Rods Association. Walt was devoted to his family, loyal to his friends, unselfish and non-judgmental to all. He was truly an angel that walked among us, spreading love, joy and laughter everywhere he went. If you so desire, donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family. Visitation Tuesday 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Wednesday at 12pm at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841. Entombment Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
