On July 4, 2011 at 68 years of age. Beloved husband of Carolyn (Munn). Loving father of Cheryl and husband Tim Pettit, Terri and husband Corey Schiller, step-father of Gary and wife Kyoung Schneider, Ron Schneider and fiancée Charlene and Kevin Schneider. Grandfather of Sidney, Grace, Hannah and Maddie. Predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Pearl Martin and brother Wendell Martin. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Born in Bury, Quebec. Wayne joined the Air Force at seventeen where he learned his sheet metal trade. Retiree of the Ford Motor Company with 30 years of service. Beyond his family, Wayne's true passion was golf. A few short months ago he shot his age at his favourite golf course in Port Charlotte. The family wishes to thank Dr. Kanjeekal, the nurses in the Cancer Clinic and special thanks to Jackie for their care and kindness.
