It is with great sadness that the family of Wilfredo Mendoza announces his passing while away on vacation on July 28, 2011, at the age of 64. He was born on May 15, 1947, in Agdangan, Philippines, the son of the late Jose and Gracia Mendoza. He was the second eldest of 7 children. Beloved husband of Teresita with whom he shared 39 years of marriage. Loving and dedicated father to Kevin and wife, Justina and daughters, Trina and Trisha. Adored Lolo to Maddox and Tristan. Cherished brother of William and Teresa Mendoza, Jose Jr. and Mila Mendoza, Marilyn and Pat Fowler, Joselyn (Vicky) and Jobel Delos Reyes, Maria Teresa and Francis Samaniego, Ruel and Annie Mendoza. Admired brother-in-law of late Medardo and Crispina Susmiran, Aida Susmiran, Cristina and late Jose Cambare, Arsenio and Agripina Susmiran, Maryann and George Toma. He will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends – all of whom he considered family. Wilfredo worked as a nurse for over 40 years at Detroit General and Detroit Receiving Hospitals. He enjoyed hours of driving and traveling with his family to various places around the world.
