Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family July 22, 2011 at Hotel Dieu-Grace Hospital at the age of 86 years. Loving husband for 62 years to Violet (Beaudoin), beloved father to Donna and husband John Krete, Karen Ball, Jeff and wife May Tuck, Gerry and wife Martha Tuck and the late Vince Tuck (May 15, 2010) and surviving wife Maryann Hamilton. Dear brother to Evelyne and husband Mike Sajtovich, and Opal Hill. Predeceased by Jack, Gordon George and sister in law Shirley. Cherished grandfather to Derek Krete and wife Amanda Driscoll, Dana Krete and husband John Cacase, Tim and Danielle Ball, Paul and wife Lisa Reshwen (Tuck), Nicole and Christina Tuck, Brendan and Shannon Tuck, and Jenn Hamilton. GG Bill to Hunter, Ella, Nathaniel, Della, Everett, Sidney, Keira and Hudson. Dear brother in law to Wallace Beaudoin, Adelaide Sorrell, Pearl Renaud, Norm and Carol Beaudoin, Nelson and Marg Beaudoin and Bernice and Louie Driessen. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. In earlier years he managed 3 gas stations in Windsor. Bill was a retired steward from the Windsor Sportsmen's Club on Dougall and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion #594. Bill was proud to serve as a pilot in the Canadian Air Force in the 40's. He was an avid sports car enthusiast, especially the Indianapolis 500. We have many treasured memories of his hobbies which included painting, building model planes and baking the best zucchini bread. Love ya Bill.
