Remembering When

I have so many memories with my Dad ,being the oldest child of 9 I was the practise child there was a lot of firsts for me. I will always remember the videos or old movies that were taking my first day at school where Daddy took me holding my hand all the way I was shy back then if you can believe that. We went to several birthday parties with my Mom and Dad almost every weekend with the relatives which is something I will never forget. Dad took us out to my Grandmothers farm every Sunday in the summer and made sure he had time for all of us even though we were a handfull.I especially remember it was such a special treat for us when my Dad had to go out of town for work my Mom would take us to the train station when it was out on the west side of town to pick him up we got our cracker jacks and we were so excited to see him. I especially enjoyed all the love that he shared with my Mom and the bond they had. I could go on and on however the tears are coming now and I must sign off. Love you forever Dad you will be dearly missed. Your oldest daughter Jill.
