Peacefully with loving family by his side on October 12, 2012 at the age of 89. Cherished husband and best friend of Barbara for 66 years. Dedicated son of the late Lawrence & Mae Burton. Loving father of Timothy Burton & wife Hope and Susan Patricia Burton (1974). Proud grandfather of Jennifer Susan (Max Liang) and Lauren Elizabeth (Tim Markovic). Great-grandfather of Quinn and Kai Liang; Mila Markovic. Dear brother of Patricia Carruthers, wife of the late George. Will be missed by many nieces, nephews and their families. William was an active member of St. David's Church. He retired from Chrysler in 1979 after many years of dedicated service in security. William took great pride in his garden and the care of his many dogs over the years. A special thank you to friends and family who have provided support and compassion for Barb & Bill.
