Peacefully on Monday April 23, 2012 with his family at his side, William Paul Zubyk, age 75 years after a courageous battle with cancer. Loving father of Karen (Mike Patrick) and Brad. Proud grandfather of Courtney, Lauren, Erin and Rosa. Special friend and companion to Lyndsy Kuzniak. Brother of John (Judy), George (Joan), Jim (Terry) and Esther (Brian MacLean). Beloved uncle of Peter, Susan, Dain, Christine, Stephanie and Sam. Predeceased by his parents Andrew and Verna Zubyk and his nephew Brent (2012). Dearly remembered by Jim Fleming, Lyndsy's family and his many friends. Bill will always be remembered for his love of his family, especially his grandchildren. Sports was also a passion and he was involved at all levels throughout his life, which included playing baseball in London and umpiring in the Intercounty Baseball League. His love of travel provided many opportunities to share memorable times with family and friends.
