It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alex Huszti Sr. on December 17, 2014, with his loving wife by his side. Born in Hungary on March 21, 1937, he was 77 years old. Beloved husband of 43 years to Elizabeth “Tubi”. He leaves behind his son Alex Jr. and daughters Audrianna DeSouza (Ricardo) and Michelle Piekos (Paul). Adored papa of Jazalyn Piekos. Beloved grandpa of Anthony, Nina and Olivia DeSouza. Loving brother of William Huszti (Veronica), Laszlo Huszti, Helen Ilku (Andras) in Hungary and their families. He came to Canada on December 24, 1956 and founded Canadian Fence Contractors with his brother Bill. Special thanks to his family Dr. Joshi, the Eastside Clinic staff and to the staff of Metropolitan Hospital, whose caring support was greatly appreciated. A heartfelt thank you to Neda and Lehmber S. Pahal of Canadian Fence who were like family to Alex, as well as the many businesses that were so supportive over the years. He will be greatly missed by his Tanglewood Court neighbours, as well as many in the community who knew him. If you so desire, donations may be made to the heart or cancer charity of your choice.
