Dear Family, It's already one year ago, that your dad, father-in-law, grandfather and my uncle Antoon past away. The year went fast and I missed him a lot. I miss the phone calls of him telling me stories about his children and grand-children where he was so proud of. No more stories about his plans to come to Holland for the next time. No more stories about his fund raising for the elderly. No more stories about his early years in Canada and about his life. The Christmas I though about him when I heard the song "My little drummer boy". He was the drummer boy very often with Christmas. His voice, his smile, his appearance, even his cough, did me also think of his brother, my own father. I'm thankful that I have known him and the lovely aunt Marietje for may years.
