Bernans, Antonina (nee Latkovskis)

Born September 27, 1925 in Varaklani, Latvia. Entered into eternal life August 14, 2011.

Beloved wife of 67 years to Vladislavs. Loving mother of the late George Bernans (1974) and wife Helen Riordon, Andy Bernans and wife Kim, daughter Rita and husband Jim Demers, daughter Anita and husband Oskar Klavins of Calgary AB. Dear grandmother of David Bernans and wife Annie, John Bernans and wife Heidi, Nicole Janisse and husband Jason Rolfe, Jason and Jean-Paul Janisse, Mathew and Mark Bernans, Erika, Thomas & Paul Klavins. Dear great-grandmother of Sasha and Clementine Bernans and Lyla Janisse-Rolfe. Sister of the late John Latkovskis and sister-in-law to Hanni. Aunt to Art and Darlene Latkovskis.

Antonina was very proud of her Latvian heritage and was a lifetime member of LNAK(Latvian National Association of Canada). She devoted her life to her faith and her family. Visiting Tuesday 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm at Families First 1065 Lauzon Rd. East Windsor, 519-969-5841. Prayers Tuesday 8 pm. On Wednesday, friends are invited to join the family after 9:30 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (834 Raymo Rd.) for Mass at 10 am. Procession to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens.
