Mom really enjoyed being a roommate with Nina at Malden Park in the spring. Nina was a gentle lady and we enjoyed chatting with her. And what a devoted husband! So kind. His devotion to Nina reminded our family of our own dad's devotion and tenderness to our mom. We tried to go back to visit Nina after mom was discharged home but they had moved Nina and we did not know her last name to find her. So sad to see this announcement. We were happy to have had the brief opportunity to spend some time together. May your lovely memories give you strength to get through this sad loss in your family.

You were the first to welcome us to this neighborhood 20 years ago. You shared your amazing flowers and your delicious fruits & vegetables from your gardens with us. Thank you for your generosity & kindness over the years....it won't be forgotten. Val, you are in our thoughts and prayers....we are heartbroken for you. Our deepest sympathy to you and family.
