Many of his students may recall his old car where the gas gauge wasn't working and he proudly said he didn't need it.
He kept a piece of paper in his visor where he tracked his km's and his gas fill-ups. It's the way he made sure he wouldn't run out of gas.
He drove us to games all around the county - and we never ran out of gas!
Good times. Great memories. 
Was proud to call him a friend after I graduated to high school.
