Aunt Chris was a special Aunt in our family, especially around Christmas time. During the holidays she would make all different types of Greek pastries for when we came to visit. It wasn’t until years later I could appreciate all the love and hard work that went into the making of these cookies. When you went for a visit, you were always greeted with a huge smile, a warm hug and her distinct New York accent welcoming you into their home. There was always a treat or a box of chocolates that were open to enjoy and she always made you feel so special. I will miss her smile, her voice and her stories. I miss her already.
