I had the pleasure of joining Dalt for the occasional early morning round of golf. Wish I had been more of a regular! His Navy stories were not only entertaining but part of history. He had a sense of humor-really helped when I joined him with my game-or lack of it. Dalt was a real gentleman and worked at his chosen law career throughout his life. His talent for arbitration of law cases will be missed.Dalt was a devoted family man who spoke lovingly of his wife, children, and grandchildren. We will miss you Dalt-but you will be remembered.

To Dalton & RM, our sincere condolence to you both and your families. It is always tough to lose a loved one but I hope you take solace in knowing that your father is no longer in pain and is in a better place. Our thoughts and prayers are with you !

A sad loss. Dalton was a true gentleman. Any lawyer who had the privilege of working with or against him took a lesson from a master in professionalism, integrity and civility. I was honoured to know him.

How very sad to hear about the passing of my great friend, Dalton. We enjoyed many lunches at Muir's and many games of golf at Essex. I always admired Dalton for his common sense approach to problem solving, his sense of justice, his perfect gentlemanly manners, his droll sense of humour, and his steadfast friendship. My deepest sympathies to Pierrette and the family.
