Darrell and I started in the OHA on the very same day and worked together for his entire 22 year career in the OHA. I worked with Darrell more than any other official during my career and each and every game was a pleasure to work with him for more reasons than just his competence on the ice. My wife Sharon and I enjoyed watching the family grow into the young adults they have become and have aways enjoyed our time together. Darrell had a smile that never seemed to fade. I can recall his smile while he wore the black and white stripes smiling at my on ice commentary. I am saddened to see a very nice man leave us at such a young age. Rest in peace Darrell.

Aunt Marie, uncle Bud, cousin Kelly and family... I am so very sorry and saddened about the loss of Darrell. Prayers, love and an open home are always here Kelly. I will miss not having some wine together with Darrell on Pelee Island, and will raise my next glass high!

To Kelly and Family - we met you and Daryl through our son's baseball with the Windsor Stars and with the Fire Dept as our son is also a firefighter. Daryl was a great guy lots of laughs, and very dedicated to whatever he did. He will be missed by everyone. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this sad time in your life.
