Dave and I were very good friends back in the 60,s.Had my first smoke with Dave under his parents porch on Pillette road after we graduated from grade 8 at David Maxwell in 1965. Very sorry to hear of his passing.Remember him as being a nice, kind person way back in our Maxwell days.

NOT SO HAPPY DAYS The sadness began, the day we found out, minds are a blur, happiness a drought. As the days pass, I sit and wait, hiding but fighting, I know it is fait. Lost in shock, cant face the fear, trying my a** off, to hold in the tears. So many thoughts run through my head, sadness anger regrets and dread. My insides are twisted my brain is a mess, my heart just so broken I must confess When I think of the outcome, I tremble with scare, then rage starts to build its just so unfair. I worry about the way it will be, the loss that were facing, will surely scare me. But I'll try my best to hold them all close, the kids my sisters and my mom the most. We'll push through each day and try not to think, hold up each other and try not to sink. I'll be your oars and you'll be my boat We'll just start to paddle and we'll stay a float.
