I first met Dev when I was a nursing student and then had the privilege of joining her in the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Windsor in later years. She was a wonderful teacher and a caring, knowledgeable nurse who was born to be a leader in our community. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to her family and friends.

I first met dear Dev in Montreal and had the pleasure of helping her find her first apartment when she moved to Windsor some 40+ years ago. She was a close friend of my mother Pansy Tewari and was loved by our family for being the most compassionate, caring and loving person. A very independent woman, Dev true to herself stayed in her home till the end. RIP dear Dev, you will be remembered fondly. Deepest condolences to Devs family, you all were very much loved by her and she talked about you with love and pride.
