Condolences & Donations

It is with deep regret that we were not aware of Eileen's passing, we would have loved to pay our respects to her and to her family. Eileen was a beautiful gracious lady, always caring for others. As our neighbour Eileen was always sweet and kind. Together we had a great love for dogs and when my husband Dave would walk our two Labs if Eileen saw him both would stop what they were doing and our dogs would sit quietly as Eileen and Dave chatted with each other, not forgetting the dogs Eileen would talk to the dogs in which she always received a happy tail wagging. Please accept our condolences on the loss of your dear mother, grandmother, sister, dear friend and neighbour. I am sure she is united with her husband, daughter and all who loved her and were waiting at the banquet table when she arrived. What a celebration she received. I am sure she is still dancing on streets paved with gold, where she is healthy and extremely happy. Welcome Home Eileen, Welcome Home!!!

Please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of your wonderful mother. Occasionally, Eileen, Franny (as your mom called her) and myself would sit around and have a few good laughs talking about their shopping trips or gardening antics. I'm very thankful they shared such a caring friendship, and I know mom & I will miss her very much.

Dear Maggie, Johanna and Ken I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. I was singing for the St. Patrick's Day celebration at Our lady of Mt. Carmel, Saturday, March 17th and had the opportunity to have a great visit with her. She looked wonderful --- was busy about her duties opening up the church for the group --- getting everything ready for the celebration. We talked about our days at Holy Redeemer, our mutual friends and about how proud she was of all of you. It was wonderful to have had the opportunity to reminisce. I know there are no words that I can say to truly comfort you –just know- you will all be in my prayers during this very difficult time. Virginia Turner

My mother, Frances, also wanted to express her deepest sympathy and is very saddened that she can't attend the funeral as she was admitted to hospital on the evening of March 20, 2012 and will not be discharged in time.

It is with a deep sadness that I express my condolences to all the family members; Maggie, Johanna, Ken and the grandchildren. Your Mom's sudden passing leaves a broken heart in all of us who knew her well and who enjoyed her company. Her dedication and love for her Church and for all the priests she knew made her a stand-out Catholic in today's world. Her constant smile and welcoming heart and her daily ministry to those in need made her a real gem in the Mount Carmel parish community. I will be miss her dearly.

I am so sorry to hear about your mom and grandmother passing. She was a wonderful lady who my family got to know when she brought communion to my mother in law. We always looked forward to her visits she made us laugh. Her visits were very special. We had the blessing to get to know Chris too. They are now together looking after all of you and everyone else they cared about. She is definately and angel and will be greatly missed. Our prayers are with you all.

I will always remember Eileen as a classy woman and the best joke teller I ever knew. She was a woman of deep faith and I enjoyed serving with her in ministry at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church for 13 years. She was a true matriarch of her family and missed her beloved Casey so much when he died. I know that they are together now and that they are both so very happy. I will always cherish the pilgrimage to Italy that she was on with myself and other parishioners. Thanks Eileen for sharing your many gifts with the rest of us...we are better people for having known you!
