From the early day of flat sharing in London and Spain Liz has always been a part of my life and I have many happy memories of our 50 years of friendship. The highs and lows and lots of laughs she will be greatly missed.

Remembering those great times we had living at 65 Sinclair Road London.
Liz you were a true friend and the memories of those crazy days and nights shared with you, Patsy and my Morris Minor (in the early 70’s) will always stay with me. I can’t believe you’ve left us so soon. But the Lord always takes the best first.

Dave, you and Liz have been next to us through many good and bad times. We have had many laughs and tears together. We have shared many meals and sleepovers together at each other’s houses, staying up until the wee hours of the morning solving the world problems. We still cannot believe that she is gone, but we know she is in a good place where she is also loved. We love you and are always here for you.

As immigrants it is said that the friends you make replace the family you left behind. Forty years ago Liz and Dave and Pauline and I arrived in Canada a week apart. And for forty years we were the best of friends. I will miss liz's culinary skills at the house parties she hosted, her company on so many fun trips and her sense of humour. But more than this she always knew whose turn it was next or what time we were supposed to meet and where. I only have the fondest of memories. My deepest sympathies to you Dave

A long time and dear friend. Liz was my wife’s (RIP) best friend. She was the perfect host, and the perfect guest. Through many years, many visits, many dinners (and a few smiles) Liz’s wicked sense of humour and indomitable spirit always shone through. My sincerest condolences to Dave.

A sad loss to all who knew Liz, best friend and loving partner to Dave, a lovely lady and a great cook. We enjoyed many evenings together over the years with delicious meals and yes a few drinks too!
We joined with Liz and Dave in Costa Rica some years back and had a wonderful time in their company, unforgettable.
Always upbeat and ready with a laugh and a smile, we will miss her dearly.
