The passing of my Uncle Steve brings with it so many memories of the man who shared my name. I first remember meeting him in Sarnia where he was living after he came to Canada. I remember him buying and fixing up the home on Moy in anticipation of his family coming to Canada, and then the joy on his face when they came. I remember Saturday morning trips to Eastern Market for lamb, and the pride in his eyes whenever his grandchildren were in the house. And i remember not so long ago the support of a big brother given to my own father when he needed it. I always saw my Uncle Steve as a man with a real sense of fun, who enjoyed a good game, and a beverage and who never forgot to ask how "things" were (if you were there you know). Our thoughts and prayers are with Aunt Genevieve and my cousins and their families.

Fondly remembering my Uncle Steve and the many family gatherings with Aunts, Uncles and cousins growing up. Uncle Steve smiled often, had a twinkle in his eye and was a force to be reckoned with when playing backgammon. The countless exciting games between him and his brothers with Sita watching in the sidlines was a sight to behold. It was always a treat to get a chance to play against him. God help anyone who takes him on in a game in Heaven. Our condolences to Aunt Genevieve and the entire family. May your faith and the support from each other strengthen you in the days ahead.
Sincerely, Teresa , John and Andrew Wigeluk

So sorry for your loss, always admired the love Steve had for his family and the smile on his face when ever they were around. He will be missed in the neighbourhood, the rock at the centre of the block. Prayers and condolences to the families. Bob MacIsaac
