It is with great sadness that we learn of Meme Gerry's passing. It's been almost 20 years since she used to care for us every single day, but her impression on us has never faded. I was the same age as Randi and when she would come visit, we would play on the organ and drum on her cooking pots until we drove her poor neighbours in Meadowbrook crazy. This is such a sweet memory for me. Randi's death was extremely hard for me to digest at such a young age, but I now hope that she was there to welcome Meme Gerry into the next life with open arms. To the family, may you find peace in knowing she was loved by all she cared for, even 20 years later.

I've just learned of this very sad news and have said a prayer as everyone has but I thought I would let Geraldine's family know how she was so special to us. Geraldine (known to us as "meme") and grandpa Mike helped raise our youngest son Tyler starting when he was only a week old. He has turned out to be a loving young man and we attribute this to having been blessed with the love and caring of meme and grandpa Mike! Geraldine's energy was incredible. I can still hear her delightful laugh and see her beautiful smile as she held my son letting him know - I've got you baby. We'll miss you Geraldine but never forget you. May God bless the family during this terrible time of sadness.
