Condolences & Donations

Dear Tullio, I'm very sorry about the passing of your mother. She was a feisty lady and I sincerely enjoyed meeting and talking with her during my visits to Southwood Lakes Extendicare when I was there to visit my grandmother. You have no idea what joy your mother brought to my grandmother during those times. Gilda was the only one who could consistently bring a smile to my grandmother's face - I don't know if it was because of the memories they shared together living and working in downtown Windsor, or the fact that they were the only ones who understood each other's "mother tongue" (sometimes I think they had a language all their own!) but, your mom truly made a difference in my grandmother's life, and I will always be grateful to her for that. May Gilda rest in peace, and may you find comfort in the many beautiful memories you have of her. You were a very devoted son and hopefully you will find solace and peace knowing that you were the true love of her life (as only a child can be). My thoughts are with you and your family as you tread through this difficult time. God Bless.
