Suddenly at 79 years of age at the London Health Science Centre. Beloved husband and companion of Doris (nee Ritchie) for 52 years. Loved brother of Robert & Sharon (Trent) of Houston Texas. Sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and their families especially Richard Hackney & Cristeta and their sons Christian and Aaron. Brother-in-law of Grace Rounding & late husband Russell, Bertha Hackney & late husband Leslie, Violet & Len Pallas and the late Lillian Seguin. Dear friend of Frank and Angela Lee and our Godchildren Brendan and Melissa Lee. Predeceased by his parents Norman and Jean Fulford. Hugh was a retired Detective with the Windsor Police after 37 years of dedicated service. He was an avid traveler with his best friend and wife. Hugh will also be lovingly remembered for his love of gardening and roses. If you so desire, donations to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Parkwood Mission Campaign would be appreciated by the family. Visitation will be Monday 7-9 pm and Tuesday 2-5 & 7-9 pm. On Wednesday, family and friends are invited to meet at Parkwood Gospel Temple, 3005 Temple Dr. after 10am followed by funeral service at 11am. Prayers to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
