Janet Truant (nee Piccinin)
Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on June 7, 2019 at 80 years of age. Beloved wife of Antonio “Tony” for 57 years. Cherished mother of Lisa (Mike) Lesperance and Paul (Lucille) Truant. Loving Nonna of Alisha (Jake) Schilbe, Josh, Meghan and great Nonna of Scarlett. Dear sister of Deanne (Tony) Marcuzzi, Gerry (Sue) Piccinin and sister-in-law of Ettore (Lucy) Truant. She will be sadly missed by her extended family and dear friends.
Janet was a retired school teacher with Catholic School Board and a proud member of the Italian Women's Club G. Caboto Auxiliary.
If you so desire, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer Society Windsor & Essex Co. would be appreciated by the family.
Visitation Sunday, June 9, 2019 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 4:30 p.m. Funeral Monday June 10, 2019 leaving Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841 at 10:15 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Angela Church.
Procession to Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
