John was one of the best people I ever met. Growing up together in army cadets with our gang of misfits gave us all so many treasured memories. My deepest heartfelt condolences to Veronica and all of John's family and friends. John will be sorely missed by many.

Firstly, my deepest condolences to John's family and friends. I was very sad to learn of his passing.

He was a great guy who I knew as a cadet and later, as a fellow RCD and Hussar.

He was a great part of our cadet family and will be remembered fondly by each and every one of us. RIP brother.

First and foremost, my condolences to the family, I am very sorry for your loss. John took me under his wing when I first joined the army. He looked after me and kept me out of trouble. We talked about fast cars, Harley's, and our hometowns. I was from London, On. and I had family in Windsor. He hit it off from the start. I wish I could have known better. He was a good man and he'll be deeply missed. R.I.P. John.
